Testimonials
Hear what people are saying about us.
The Vineyard Home was our mother’s home for many years. We were so very fortunate that my sister found this home for her. Corina, Gino and the wonderful people they hired treated our mother like the special person she was. Her care was always based on her needs, comfort levels and medical needs. She was well-fed with homemade food and garden vegetables, fruits and herbs. Gino made homemade bread and goodies too! The main living space is a center for activities, music, TV and even dancing. The home environment was very natural and accommodating to everyone living there. The Vineyard Home is the most wonderful place we could have ever found for our mother.

My sister and I had our mother in three retirement/senior care homes. As her dementia increased, her care became increasingly challenging for the caregivers. We found Vineyard Home and Corina. When we went there to interview, she had a totally home-cooked lunch prepared for us. Our mother was there for three years, and I believe it was the happiest time of her life since leaving her own home in central Illinois. It was a family life there. She was valued as a human being and cherished. Corina understands dementia and is most caring and thoughtful. I will be forever grateful to Corina, her husband and family.

When I found Corina and Vineyard, it was life changing for me, and for my mom. I had moved my mom to a facility near me, but after only 2 months, they asked me to move her, because they were not equipped to care for her level of dementia. I saw the sign at Vineyard home, scheduled an appointment, and knew immediately that this was a place my mom would be well cared for. It’s a beautiful home, with the only smells that of good cooking. Each resident is given their own room, with a high ceiling and a glass sliding door. Through my mom’s 5 years with Corina, I watched her flourish. Corina and Eugene (Gino) treat each resident as their own family. I am so happy that my mom was cared for in such an amazing way.

Vineyard Home is the gold standard for elder care. Corina Drambarean, as a nurse and with expertise in memory care, provides superior personalized care to each individual resident. She and her staff observe behaviors and work well with each resident’s medical team in customizing and assuring optimal interventions for quality of life. A warm welcoming environment along with nutritional healthy organic food was standard care. The superb care received by my mother and later my husband, who were both residents at Vineyard Home, made all the difference in the quality of each of their lives in addition to providing much needed peace of mind for the rest of my family.

You would be hard pressed to find a more exceptional place than The Vineyard, for your loved one’s care needs! Our folks were fortunate enough to flourish under the capable and compassionate hands of the owners, Corina and Gino, and their remarkable care-giving staff. The biggest gift The Vineyard gave us was peace of mind, instilling confidence that our parents were receiving phenomenal care. Setting: The lovely and spacious home is nestled in the most gorgeous setting. Landscaped to the hilt, the backyard was not only a place to soak in nature, but the gardens also provided fruit and vegetables the staff would use in meal preparation. Care: We felt our parents were in the best of hands, and all of their needs were met. They were treated with dignity and encouraged to be the best versions of themselves. Communication: Corina was exceptional at keeping the family informed about all aspects of our folks’ care. Food: Most everything was made from scratch...even to Gino baking bread! Corina prided herself in making nutritious and varied meals. Sense of Family: Not only were our parents treated like family, all of us kids were too! Our family can wholeheartedly recommend The Vineyard for your loved one’s need for a care home situation.
